Elm Treason is not a band with a ton of catchphrases and slogans that are easily slapped on a t-shirt.
Album covers, yes.
Band name, you betcha.
A line drawing featuring two raised fists holding up guitars in a kind of “workers of the world unite” motif, sure.
An infectious saying or trademark, not so much.
But the band does have a tune called “Just Like Rock and Roll.” It lives on the “Acoustic Treason” album. Turns out, it’s one of the more popular tunes in the band’s catalog. It rocks, they say. It’s actually a rock and roll song about rock and roll. It contains a delicous little three-syllable catch-chant: “Bom Bom Boom.” (Not to be confused with “Boom-Boom-Boom,” “Snap-Crackle-Pop” or “Kit-Kat-Bar“).
And now you can wear this rhythmic aliterated onomatopoeia (yup, we used a thesaurus) across your chest, along with a couple of drumsticks (the non-edible variety).
If you put your ear right up to your device or monitor, you can hear this T-Shirt sing, “Take me home tonight, you stud, you.”
