HUGE WOW AND THANKS!
Nothing but TREMENDOUS THANKS to all of you who particpated in last week’s ELM TREASON “Six Quickies” Survey.
Yup, take a WOW out of petty cash.
You guys are simply amazing! We KNEW you’d come through.
The feedback and insights we’ve gotten from you is just priceless.
Again, we have no intention of changing what we do… but it is incredibly helpful to know what people are thinking when they hear our music.
Thank you, thank, thank you…
If you’d still like to participate, please feel free by clicking here: —> Our SIX QUICKIES survey
It only takes a few minutes and will immeasurably help us as we try to target new fans. (And it’s anonymous).
One-Hit Wonders?
Rolling Stone Magazine recently had a list they called “Top Ten One-Hit Wonders of All Time.”
One can certainly debate the definition of a one-hit wonder, but here was their list…
Thoughts?
A few others we thought of: Toni Basil – “Mickey” … Thomas Dolby – “She Blinded Me With Science” … Right Said Fred – “I’m Too Sexy” … Wild Cherry – “Play That Funky Music” … Baha Men – “Who Let the Dogs Out” …
Your Input: Let’s Have a Drink…
Here’s a fun one…
Name one musician (and just to keep this interesting, let’s keep it to ONE) you’d like to sit down and have a drink with… from any era.
We don’t necessarily mean one musician you’d like to get dogfaced smashed with (although, if that’s your thing, grab those three sheets…..)
Really, we mean just a nice kickback with one musician.
For instance… based on so many comments we’ve received on our page, we’ve decided we’d like to sit down, have a drink with Lemmy… talk some rock and roll…play some pinball…
How about you?
Have at it.
Hit that comments section. Thanks!

You lost a star for that disturbing photo of Kurt Cobean!
We deserve that, Nisha. We’d do the same to us.
The Knickerbockers. Lies
LITERALLY, one of my (Andy’s) favorite all time song. OUTSTANDING, Dennis.
I would sit and drink with Tom Waits
I (Andy) would, too, Martin.
I’d like to hang with Pete Townsend. One of my favorite one hit wonder songs is Smoke From. Distant Fire from the Sandford Townshed Band.,I had their album, Duo Glide
Honorable mention for one hit wonders: Nick Kershaw: Wouldn’t it Be Good. Mary’s Prayer by Danny Wilson
VERY honorable, Bill! Good calls.
I (Andy) was a boy when that song was a big hit. I used to write out Casey Kasem’s Top 40 each week in a composition notebook while listening on my transistor. I remember writing out that song DISTINCTLY.
You know imma gonna say Robert Plant, right!! And,by the way,I would have been VERY disappointed if come on Eileen was left out of one hit wonders!!!
Same here Joe! I (Andy) always thought the lead vocals sounded like they were sung by Jay from Jay and the Americans. LOL.
I’d have to say Bowie, second choice John Prine, think he’d interesting and have a few stories to tell.
Mind you think ET boys would be a great laugh and interesting too.
Well, thank you so much for including us in such esteemed company! How about all of us together for a nice brunch?
Pete Ham of badfinger
I (Andy) am with you, Roger. I have always loved Badfinger. Would love to talk songwriting with him. Thanks, Roger!
Tom Lehrer, I think he’d be a hoot to hang out with!
This’ll sound very strange… but I would love to jam with him on the songs I know he wrote and performed for THE ELECTRIC COMPANY – “L-Y” and “Silent E.”
Why do I always draw a blank when you ask these questions and yet I know I have discussed them many times, ugh!
Rock ‘n’ roll Hoochie Koo by Rick Derringer and I think I’d like to hang with Dave Grohl!
As a solo artist, okay… We can go with that. 🙂 Of course, he was with the McCoys and sang on the huge hit HANG ON SLOOPY. But yes, that’s the only song that charted for him as a solo artist.
Dave Grohl is a good choice. I (Andy) would love to talk music with him. Definitely.
I have so many….John Bonham
Bonzo! If ever that happens – perhaps in the next life – please save a chair. I (Andy) want in!
would love a drink with cyndi lauper. saw her in concert – she kicked off her shoes on stage and being a barefoot whenever possible jump in puddles kind of girl – loved it
Wow, that’s pretty cool. Her accent reminds me of spending time with my family during the holidays. That New YAWK drawl!
Thanks, Cindy! Appreciate your input.
I have many artists I would love to have a drink with, but I think having a sit down with Ozzy would be a hoot!
To say the least! Yeah, an evening with Ozzy could prove… memorable. 🙂
