THE ELM TREASON NEWSLETTER NO. 35

Band Update

For the holidays…

Band activities will be slowing down a bit – not completely, but a little bit (very temporarily) – except for the shipping out of orders, the creation of these newsletters and keeping up with the Facebook page and emails. (That never stops). But music-making will be put on the back burner for a few weeks.

The studio will be dark for a little while.

Andy will be in Texas with family during Christmas and will stay through the early part of January.

Bobby will be staying in New York with his family during the holiday.

Your Input: You Play What?

You’re kicking back – no worries, no troubles. The world is out of reach… This scene is what you see before you. You have immediate access to every song in existence. What’s the FIRST SONG you play?

The first song I would play would be “Beautiful Child” by Fleetwood Mac . . . . .on Tusk.

Bill Boys

Admittedly, this is a cop out, because it almost physically hurts to choose just one. If I’m thinking of family, I play Rocky Raccoon because I sang it as a lullaby to my daughter and still do to my grandchildren. My daughter sings it to my grandkids too. Recently, my daughter told me that she always thought Rocky was an actual Raccoon, Juliet (4) thinks he’s a Kangaroo for some reason and Jack (7) understands that he is actually a Cowboy. This probably means that Jack will be an Elmer.

Ann Groff

Wonderful world. Louis Armstrong

Turlough

Louis lied Place is messed up

Nancy Norris

Well, that depends on my mood, so it could be anything from SRV to Earth, Wind & Fire to Vivaldi to Tom MacDonald. #AriesAreMoody LoLoL

Shelley Stewart

It could change depending on my mood but gotta go with a triple…Soulshine , Altman Bros. Then onto can’t you see by Marshall Tucker and ending with and it stoned me by Van Morrison!
Happy holidays Andy and Bobby and make sure to take some time kick back and enjoy your wonderful families❗️🎄🎸☃️💖

Hope you guys have a great Christmas and enjoy the down time 😎. Since it’s Christmas my song is Fairytail of New York.. The best Christmas song ever imo 🇨🇮. Cant beleive the snowflakes have it banned from the radio 🙄.
Great dad jokes. Im definitely stealing these 🤣

Ronald Swanson

Midnight Blue by ELO (assuming I’m with my love)😁

Ronald Swanson

I should clarify it would be Missing You but John Waite if I’m not with her💔

Paul F. ILLIG

The Beatles “Good Day Sunshine” or Elm Treason’s “I Like it There” or ELO”s “Mr. Blue Sky” or perhaps something by Cat Stevens. I could go on and on, too many mood fitting tunes to choose from.
