TREASON NOODLES
– The current “FREE CD” campaign running on social media to bring new sets of ears into the ELM TREASON ecosystem is humming along with a very good degree of success thus far. In the last week, over 100 have opted to give our album “Rhyme and Treason” a ride.
– Work continues on the next ELM TREASON music video. It’s a tricky one, but it is progressing nicely. We’ll keep you updated.
OTHER NOODLES
– The Eagles have added seven more dates to their “Long Goodbye” tour for 2024. The new shows now extend the tour through March 16th. Previously, the last concert announced was scheduled for March 13 in Toronto. With the addition of these seven new dates, the last show on the schedule now is in Charlotte, North Carolina.
– Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson will star in “Bjorn of the Dead,” a new horror movie about an ABBA tribute band that finds itself trapped in a nightclub at the dawn of the apocalypse alongside a slew of other tribute bands.
– Richie Sambora this week said ‘It’s Time’ for Bon Jovi Reunion – ‘I Feel Younger Than Ever.’ While a potential reunion remains cloudy at best, Sambora did confirm that a Bon Jovi documentary is currently in the works.
– Bruce Springsteen made a surprise appearance on Monday night, November 6th at “Stand Up for Heroes,” a charity event in New York City honoring veterans and their families. It was a rare live appearance for Springsteen, who has had to postpone a number of tour dates as he undergoes treatment for peptic ulcer disease.
– Elton John said that he and Bernie Taupin have recently completed a brand new LP that will “surprise the shit out of you!”
– Slipknot have parted ways with longtime drummer Jay Weinberg.

This vihuela — the predecessor of modern guitars — created by Belchior Diaz is widely considered the oldest guitar in the world. It dates back to around 1590, has 10 strings, and instead of regular metal frets, its ligatures are tied like those found on a lute.
From our new album “WITHOUT A TRIBE,” here is the official music video for the song “UP TO ME.”

First Band, other than Elm Treason, that came to mind was Firefall. Second was America.
“Sister Golden Hair” is just delicious.
America, Grateful Dead, Barenaked Ladies
America definitely seems to be one that is invoked quite a bit on the word “acoustic” enters the conversation.
Very interesting that you chose Grateful Dead.
My wife listens to them constantly. And the first word that comes to mind when I think of that band is “noodling.”
????
CSN
There you go!
James Taylor
Whether or not Carolina is on my mind, I (Andy) agree.
Since I’ve been listening a bunch to their music lately, Elm Treason is the FIRST that pops into my head…but then there’s Crosby, Stills and Nash, Simon and Garfunkel come to mind too…
I (Andy) will have to check out that Elm band you mentioned…
But the other two are Bullseye.
The first thing that popped into my head when I saw “acoustic” was Landslide from Fleetwood Mac’s Unplugged MTV performance. As far as acoustic artists, I go with Simon and Garfunkel and Elm Treason.
Might have said Joni Mitchell if I had read the birthdays first. LOL
I (Andy) can lose myself in that landslide. Over and over again.
Jackson Browne (The Road), Nirvana (The Man Who Sold The World)….also you fine gentlemen. Thanks for the Groovy Noodles guys, so happy to hear that its catching on
Appreciate that very much.
We hope people are digging the newsletter.
It’s our little “thank you” to our fans.
We definitely enjoy doing it. And we really enjoy having you out there.
Booker’s Guitar by Eric Bibb and The Country Blues of John Lee Hooker both awesome albums.
Absolutely scrumptious!
OMG I want to see Bjorn in the dead…what a riot! Sorry I have not seen any posts for free album or I would be sharing, WTF??? Elm Treason of course, Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, and my fave before you came along is Simon and Garfunkel
A seriously awesome muster of artists right there.
Elvis, Everly Brothers, Ricky Nelson, Dylan and Ritchie Havens, Probably in that order!
Neil Young ????????
I said John Denver. Hubby said Jose Feliciano
