TREASON NOODLES
– Work on the band’s next music video continues.
– The band has decided that “funny memes” will not be a part of their main Facebook page anymore. Andy says, “People are following our main Facebook page for the funny memes and are increasingly ignoring the purpose of the page – to promote and gain exposure for the band’s music. We now have to pay fees just to get our music distributed to those who are inclined to actually listen to what Elm Treason does. We can’t do that anymore. We’re defeating our own purposes. The “meme” stategy worked once upon a time, but the algorithm is different now and it’s been steadily hurting us. We are not a meme factory or a comedy site. We are a band. We make music. We are getting back to that on our main page and are re-training the algorithm accordingly. I’m talking only about the band’s main Facebook page. The private group (Uptown Q) is different and will operate as it always has. The newsletter is fine as it is, too. But the main page has ceased to be a cartoon depot.”
OTHER NOODLES
– Ann Wilson brought out a special guest at her concert Tuesday night, October 10th: her sister and former bandmate Nancy Wilson. “Ladies and gentlemen, we have the answer to a question with us tonight,” Ann Wilson said from the stage. “A very, very good friend — more than a friend … let’s bring her out. Come on.”
– Tool bassist Justin Chancellor has revealed that the prog-metal giants have begun writing material for the follow-up to their 2019 album, “Fear Inoculum.”
– Paul Rodgers said that Bad Company is not done and expressed optimism that the band may tour again one day. The group’s last performance took place on October 18, 2019, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
– Donald Fagen is reportedly out of the hospital following an unspecified illness that forced Steely Dan to withdraw from several tour stops.
– The Eagles were joined by Steely Dan as their opening act during the first few weeks of their “Long Goodbye” tour. But due to illness within Steely Dan, the Steve Miller Band will temporarily serve as a replacement.
– Guns N’ Roses have announced two Los Angeles concerts with special guests the Black Keys, which will take place November 1st and 2nd.
– Judas Priest will release a new album titled “Invincible Shield” on March 8.
– Bruce Springsteen has rescheduled recently postponed tour dates for next year. All of his 2023 concerts were suddenly halted in late September so he could undergo treatment for peptic ulcer disease.

I got Bob Corritore latest one called Somebody put bad luck on me…He puts these awesome albums out, Bob Corritore & friends. Awesome harmonica player.
I (Andy) love harmonica music. A great player can have me in a trance for extended periods.
I will check it out. Thank you, Ellen.
Dual by The Rose
Not familiar, I must admit.
I’m glad there’s still new music out there you are digging.
Rock on, Patricia!
Mary Chapin Carpenter, The Dirt and the Stars. Worth every penny.
Excellent, Laura.
Without a Tribe !
You have no idea how much that lifted my (Andy’s) soul.
Thank you, Rich. I really hope you’re enjoying the new record.
Without a tribe
Wow. Absolutely honored Steven!
Tremendous thanks! Truly hope you are digging the record.
A Tribute to Dan Fogelberg (various artists)
Very nice! That might be worth checking out on this end.
Thank you, Katie!
“Without a Tribe” by Elm Treason is the last collection I bought recently. Great music!
Man, that is so good to hear, Michael. Smile on my (Andy’s) ugly mug is a mile wide. So pleased you are enjoying the music. Thank you.
Elm Treason, of course!
I’m smiling like a little kid right now, Jaymie! Truly, I am.
Thank you so much. Really hope youre digging the new album.
Elm Treason Without a Tribe
Hi Marcia!
It really does sound a little shiver down our spine to hear that.
Thanks so much for dropping your hard earned coin on our new music. Really hope it’s connecting with you.
Just prior to Elm treason CD which is excellent by the way I bought Matchbox 20 where the light goes
Very cool. I (Andy) trust you dug that record?
Well guys and dollsthis is the easiest question to date and a no br ainer…Without a Tribe,by 2 crazy and wonderful dudes from NYC!!!!!
Aw, thank you, love. Nothing beats that.
So very thrilled to have you in our family.
We are so happy you’re enjoying the new album, Shelley.
“Without a Tribe.”
Beyond that, I don’t remember.
It’s been a while.
The year he died, I bought a Tom Petty T-shirt at a concert.
Well, if I (Andy) may say so, I am honored as hell. I know Bobby is too. If you cannot remember the last time you bought before ours…. Wow!
Trust me when I say, we are so glad you did, brother.
Elm Treason’s latest & greatest “Without A Tribe”! Before that, The Condriacs (a UK duo with a soulful sound). And I think the next will be Anthony Gomes.
I’m so, so, so enjoying my musical finds from FB! 🥰🤩🥰
I (Andy) think that is probably social media’s greatest accomplishment… Especially for someone like me who lives and breathes music… It’s the discovery of new music… You just have to know how to dig. You just have to be persistent. It’s out there.
Thank you, thank you… You make our day. So happy to have you out there.
Just this afternoon I downloaded When Rivers Meet latest album, Aces Are High. Due to a haphazard record keeping “system”… it seems I got 3 copies (crowdfunded it, then seem to have bought 2 other copies along the long road to release date.) It’s a theme; I often buy 2 copies of something coming out. I’ll have to upgrade my system.
Very cool to know you’re out there supporting independent artists, new music…
It’s people like you, and make all of this so special to us. Sincerely.
Thank you, Curtis. You rock just as much, if not more, then we do.
Elm Treason. But that’s probably not the answer you are looking for. The last CD I bought was David Bowie – Blackstar. And prior to that was Alanis Morrissette – Jagged Little Pill.
Don’t be so sure that’s not what I (Andy) want to hear. 😁
Thank you, my friend. You have been such an ardent supporter… And if I may say so with nothing but love, a much wanted and needed high maintenance fan.
The best kind.
Yesterday I bought The Cramps- The Creature From The Black Leather Lagoon LP.
I love it!!!!I do not think that there are many of us who own any of The Cramps on vinyl or even cd! Right on!!!
Outstanding album!
I will direct this one at Shelly, as well as you… I do own this album on CD.
Elm Treason’s Without a Tribe
Lisa, that is all kinds of cool. Wow.
Honored! Thank you so very much for the incredible support. Really hope you are enjoying the album.
Ozzy Osbourne’s “Patient Number 9”
Peggy, you absolutely rock!
Well done!
Without a Tribe (of course).
Thank you so much, Tom! Nothing feels quite as good as that answer
Cannot even begin to quantify appreciation.
Elm Treason Without a Tribe is the last bit of music I paid for!
Hi Ron! Andy here.
We are grateful that you did. Such an honor. Such a thrill.
Despite it being a cliché, we know money doesn’t grow on trees… So we appreciate it more than we can say.
Something old and something new!”Father’s and Sons”old Mike Bloomfield record I never knew about! Also a new rocker? “Anthony Gomes?” I listened to pieces of two songs and figured I’ll check it out!
Very very cool. Maybe I should check out this Anthony Gomes.
Appreciate hearing from you, brother. Always.
Yours!!!! I haven’t bought anything since.
Mainly because I’m enjoying it, and don’t need to change it in my car yet…yet …I have the same cd in the car for ages…lol
