You Say: Good to Meet You
Hello Treasonites!
You have a chance to meet one musician from any time in history. It could be an extended dinner. It could be going out for drinks. It could be a walk through the park. It could even be a simple 15 second handshake and a “thank you,” whatever is satisfying to you… Dead or alive.
Someone comes up to you and asks: “Which musician in music history would you like to meet most…”
You say….

That’s a tough one…so many…but I’d love to share a pizza and a cold one with Andy and Bobby from Elm Treason. A chat with Jack White would be my second choice…
Wow. Was not even expecting that as a response.
I’m a little verklempt, I must admit.
It would be our absolute honor to make that happen one day. Absolutely.
And maybe we can get Jack White to join us. I would dig that very much.

Hell yes. He has always been on my dream list of artists to meet in person.
Bruce Springsteen
Very cool, Patricia. We have quite a few Bruce Springsteen fans here in the Elm Treason family.
i know not all musicians write all their own songs, and i appreciate the musicians and songs either way. personally, for me, i would love to meet the minds and learn the inspirations behind my favourite songs
For me, growing up, the people that inspired me to become a musician, were the people who created the songs we all sang. Songwriting itself was always my motivation, far more than just being a rockstar.
I always wanted to be one of those people who could create the songs that people saying. So I feel you. I’m with you.
McCartney
Amen to that.
As much as my instinct might be to be a flabbergasted, awestruck fan in his presence, I (Andy) would simply love to talk music with him. Those are the interviews that fascinate me the most with him… Music.
The late, great Jimmy Buffett.
Buy every account I (Andy) have you ever read about him, he was simply the nicest man, the most accessible musician, the most delightful person to be around.
That is a really hard one to answer maybe Emmylou to ask what it was like to work with so many different people, but I have a bit of an urge to meet T Bone Burnett as well.
It is a very tough one to answer. That’s what kind of makes it fun. And I (Andy) think your answer is fantastic, Ellen!
I would like to meet Eric Clapton, been listening to him for a very long time, he is one of the very best musicians around
Honestly, Donny Osmond. I would love to tell him what thier music means to me and how they helped me survive an abusive upbringing.
