– The PRE-ORDER countdown clock for ELM TREASON‘s new album “WITHOUT A TRIBE” is on!

If you plan on pre-ordering YOUR copy of “WITHOUT A TRIBE”  through this newsletter, here’s how it will go…

Simply, next week’s newsletter will have the link you need to secure your exclusive access to our new record. Just sit back and wait for the email to arrive announcing the arrival of your weekly GROOVY NOODLES newsletter like normal.

Next week, Friday, June 23rd.

This newsletter is delivered at 9:40AM LOCAL TIME every Friday… That means, much like each time zone in the world celebrates the arrival of the New Year when their OWN clock strikes midnight, that’s how this will work. When the newsletter is delivered to your email in your time zone at 9:40AM, your access to the pre-order is official!

The above countdown clock is ticking the way the moments until the first delivery to the earliest time zone on our subscription list: NEW ZEALAND.

You can, however, pre-order your copy of the album earlier in two different ways.

If you are a member of the ELM TREASON mailing list, you will receive an email at 9:40AM LOCALLY (your time, wherever you are) this coming Monday, June 19th announcing the opening of pre-sales.

Or if you are a member of the ELM TREASON Facebook Group “The Uptown Q,” there will be a post that hits the group at 9:40AM EDT (New York time).

If you missed it, here is a link to a more detailed explanation of how the PRE-ORDER will work:

Which Logo is Best?

Hello Treasonites!

We are coming up with a new logo for “GROOVY NOODLES.” This will be the logo of the newsletter as well as some new merch we are creating.

It’s a cool little phrase that was originally one of Andy’s sayings that would come out when something was cool or good or was met with his approval.

Hey, I think we should have a piano solo here.”

“Cool. Groovy Noodles.”

Even if people don’t know about our newsletter (which is just about the entirety of Planet Earth), it’s still a cool little ditty to throw on a t-shirt, for example. Why not, right?

So, we’ve got two logos. We dig ’em both. But we’d love your input.

Bobby or Andy (or maybe both) come up to you and ask, “Which logo do you like more?”

You say……

To be honest, neither.

I think the design should be Groovier and Noodle-ier lol
I think a bowl, with noodles being picked up/out that are in music-inspired shapes (treble & bass clef, notes, instrument shapes) would be Perfect!

Penny C

And it looks too food related…..

I like number 2 but I would like to see Groovy Noodles a different color like a nice blue or purple. The repetition of the green from right about is unpleasant to my eyes. Just a thought

Janet

Number 1. Agree it seems more focused, and more active. Like it better. Number 2. Seems cool and laid back, and advertising ramen.

Michael

I like the look of #1 but 2 immediately stuck out🫤

Nisha

Unique? Eccentric? Wild? Or Just Plain Ugly?

Yes, the line is fine… maybe TOO fine. But there is one between individualistic and horrific… right?

What do you think of these axes?
