THE “WITHOUT A TRIBE” PRE-ORDER INFO SPECTACULAR
TREASON NOODLES
“WITHOUT A TRIBE”
PRE-ORDER ANNOUNCEMENT!!
PRE-ORDERS for the our new album “WITHOUT A TRIBE” will begin on Monday, June 19th for those who are on the ELM TREASON MAILING LIST as well as those who are members of our UPTOWN Q FACEBOOK GROUP.
So…
If you are a member of our mailing list, you will get the first announcement the morning of June 19th in your e-mail inbox at 9:40AM (your local time, no matter where you are).
The official announcement for all UPTOWN Q riders will happen via a post that will hit the group at 9:40AM on that same day, NEW YORK CITY TIME (EDT).
Fear not if you are NOT on our mailing list (which you probably should be, by the way) or not a member in the UPTOWN Q group.
You will be able to PRE-ORDER “WITHOUT A TRIBE” right here through the Groovy Noodles Newsletter on Friday, June 23rd.
These are the only three avenues for pre-ordering the album – the mailing list, the Uptown Q and the Groovy Noodles newsletter.
We are giving a very exclusive group of inner-circle ELM TREASON fans FIRST DIBS on everything before the general public has access to any of it.
Along with CDs, vinyl and digital copies of the album, there will be additional merch available including EXCLUSIVE bundles for our best and closest friends and fans – YOU GUYS.
Nobody else is seeing this message – just the Q riders, the email list and Groovy Noodles people.
Meanwhile, the “official” release date of “WITHOUT A TRIBE” for everybody else will be Friday, August 1st.
What does “official release date” actually mean? And who is “everybody else?”
The release date is when the music will be made available to the general public – the NON-PRE-ORDER people.
In other words, whatever is left over from the pre-order inventory will be made available to the rest of the world on Friday, August 1st. That means, the people who were not given an opportunity to pre-order might not be able to get everything we’re offering.
“Everybody else” is everyone NOT riding on the Uptown Q, NOT on our e-mail list and NOT a “Groovy Noodles” subscriber.
Meanwhile, those who have PRE-ORDERED physical merchandise such as CDs, Vinyl, merch, etc. can expect their goodies to ship during the week PRIOR to August 1st.
Additionally, all PRE-ORDER people who snagged physical merchandise such as CDs, Vinyl, merch, etc. will have the music made available to them by Monday, July 17th in digital format (MP3s), a full TWO WEEKS before anyone else will hear any of the music. This will hold friends and fans over until the physical stuff finally arrives home. These MP3s will be delivered via email.
And for those who order ONLY digital downloads, HIGH QUALITY audio files will be delivered on Monday, July 17th via e-mail.

– Audience Pandering? John Mellencamp is not interested in it, he says. “I could do a whole show of hits if I wanted to, but I don’t,” he said. “That’s one reason I quit playing arenas and playing outdoors. It wasn’t about music — it was about being a human jukebox.”
– Queens of the Stone Age will embark on a headlining North American tour in early August to support their upcoming album “In Times New Roman.” The tour begins on August 3 in Sterling Heights, Michigan, and concludes on October 8 in Sacramento.

Someone asks you : “What album do you think everyone should listen to at least once in their lifetime?”

Bob Marley, Natty Dread
GREAT choice, Ira. Side One is especially amazing.
Rush 2112
Just outstanding. The SOUND of that record is incredible – not just the stellar musicianship… but the PRODUCTION VALUE rocks the enamel off my (Andy’s) teeth.
Machine Head -Deep Purple
GREAT album, Michael. Through and through.
Rush Moving Pictures. Gotta appreciate the musicianship.
I LOVE the shot of Voice of Treason with the photobomb shopper lady carrying her groceries. We tried to get that full picture on the cover but didn’t work (too long)
Probably better off ( we might get demands for photo royalties).
That was just one of those magical moments from that photo shoot. Great memories.
The other was the shot of us walking down the street. Had to walk briskly because it was freezing outside (32F/0C) What a wonderful snapshop in time to revisit.
My mind bounces around so much that it might be a different album(s) tomorrow. This is so subjective to one’s own taste, but Randy Newman produced an album that I wish more people were exposed to: Bad Love. Also, the first time I heard Frank Zappa’s Joe’s Garage, I thought, where has this hilarious creative genius been all my life?
Outstanding selections, both of them. I actually own both on vinyl. 🙂
I Like the logo at the bottom of the page.
The leaves answer a question I’ve wondered about for a while: the play on words between Treason and Elm tree. I mean, it’s kind of obvious, but still, you don’t know if you don’t ask and I couldn’t ever figure out how to ask in an intelligent way. Doesn’t usually stop me, I know, but still.
The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Axis Bold as Love. So very good
So VERY VERY VERY good. That groove on “Little Miss Lover” is worth the price of admission alone.
Anything Frank Zappa ever wrote and Iggy in the stooges raw power. Last week your question was what song makes me reach for the volume knob and Crank it up took me this long to figure it out and I have to say all of them LOL!!!
Yep. That probably would have been my (Andy’s) answer to such a question: ALL OF THEM.
Thanks, David. Sincerely.
Them Crooked Vultures….
Love it, Vinny. Killer pick.
Rhythm Corps, Common Ground. A band out of Detroit in the 80s that never got the national recognition they deserved. . I like to say they were grunge before there was grunge
I (Andy) would like to seek them out.
Thank you for that, Rich.
Red Headed Stranger by Willie Nelson and Outside Child by Allison Russell..
Thank you, Ellen. Very much.
Lowest of the Low; Shakespeare my butt: Melissa Etheridge; first self titled: and truthfully this I have been doing for at least a few year, every/any Elm Treason album!!These albums will comprise my WOW! wall of fame when completed!!!! I am so excited about the pre sale, Yea!!
Wow. THANK YOU, Shelley. Sincerely.
What would we do without you?
You rock our world. 🙂
Deep Purples..Made in Japan
Have it. Love it.
Golden Throats: the Great Celebrity Sing-off. Everyone should listen to it once – then maybe burn it.

Great comment, Katie!
