TREASON NOODLES
– Work continues on ELM TREASON’S next music video. Which song is it? Hmmmm… (No release date is set yet, but look for a late October drop.
– New UPTOWN Q t-shirts are in the works.
– And speaking of t-shirts…. a really cool idea is in the works for a shirt that involves YOU – but not in a way that’s been done before. It’s a “WITHOUT A TRIBE” 2024 TOUR t-shirt… even though the band is NOT going on tour (unfortunately). It’s a REALLY COOL idea. More details to come soon.

At the moment it’s a tune called Taylor’s Rock done by Sonny Landreth, I put it on repeat all the time and for some reason it just makes me float.
Floating is very good. It is some thing I (Andy) try to do anytime I slip into music’s palm.
I will seek out this tune. Thank you,Ellen.
Poncho and Lefty by Townes Van Zandt. It just sort of makes me happy (which is weird as it is essentially a sad tale).
I (Andy) have several sad tunes that actually make me happy.
I think all music we enjoy essentially makes us happy, ultimately… because even when we put on a sad song, specifically, we’re looking for the music to commiserate. To connect.
And whether or not that connection is through glee or sadness… In the end, it makes us happy to know that music is there for us.
That’s my mangled opinion… And I am sticking to it.
Wild Thing, The Troggs! I no doubt have a million more but I went with the first song that came into my head and for the first time I am not going to give multiple answers…although, I could mention a few Elm treason tunes as Well!
To quote the lyric in reverse… It moves you.
You do know for sure.
The music is there to hold you tight.
It makes your heart sing.
Thunderstruck
Nuclear level, AC/DC!
Pretty much any Pink Floyd song off any Pink Floyd album. For example, I have listened to both DSOTM and The Wall ad nauseum (according to my wife and children for months at a time.
I (Andy) hear you. I feel you.
Sometimes I get hooked on an album so much, that for my wife it is not ad nausea
It is “I am nauseous! “
Not that she doesn’t love me… I’m pretty sure she does… Even on the 10th playing…
Dance with my father! Luther VanDross
Very nice choice. I had to check it out before commenting.
Excellent, Patricia!
Led Zeppelin – Kashmir
Rush – Tom Sawyer
Those are two of rock ‘n’ roll‘s monster grooves. All time pockets. As good as it gets.
So delicious, I need a napkin just to listen.
Thank you, Vinny.
The first song that popped into my mind was Smooth by Santana. Never got tired of that song eventhough it was way overplayed.
I (Andy) definitely have those songs that most would consider Wayover played that I can never get sick off.
Maybe we should have worded this weeks question that way… Even though it is self evident.
I remember someone once having a conversation with my wife. She said she just loved the song Hotel California by the Eagles. She said she kept the CD in her car so she could always hear the song.
My wife’s response, paraphrasing, was something like… But the song comes on the radio every 15 seconds… You’ll be able to hear it constantly even if they stop selling the CDs and downloads.
Point well taken.
But the fact is… We love what we love, and that’s the end of that.
Cover of the rolling stone
Oh, I love that song as a kid… I love it just as much as an adult.
And the way that dude says… “ beautiful.”
I’m pretty sure my own granddad, if he were alive, would never agree to drive my limousine.
