The teddy bears picnic
Haven’t stopped singing TEDDY BEAR PICNIC for hours now…..
I’d play Helter Skelter on Jerry Garcia’s rig if I could… Hate to correct you guys but it’s Randy Backman not Tim, a fellow Canadian from Winnipeg Manitoba…. I personally consider Randy to be one of the best to come out of Canada… His music knowledge is next to none, plus he also played with the Guess Who one of the better bands to come out of here in the late 60’s early 70’s…One of their signature songs was American Woman….Cheers to you all! Rock on!
Tim Bachman. lol Tim McCartney, Tim Lennon, Timmy Page, Timi Hendrix, Timmy Osbourne, etc.
That is f****** hilarious Tim ????????????
Actually, as I pointed out to Lionel, it IS Tim Bachman who had his birthday on August 1st – one of BTO’s original founders.
Actually, TIM BACHMAN is correct. That’s who’s birthday we’re celebrating this week. RANDY’S birthday is in September. Tim was one of BTO’s founding members. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Bachman
The song that’s in my mind right now for that honor is “Walk Like a man (You Can Call Me Your Man)” by Grand Funk
There’s another song I (Andy) haven’t heard in a mighty long while… Time to wipe off the dust and twist the volume button. Thanks, Bill.
Raw Power or Devil with a Blue Dress On would demand such a set up.
Indeed they would. Well done, brother.
Hmmm,
Children of the Sun
Love it, John. Outstanding choice.
Kashmir…. Led Zeppelin
Makes me (Andy) want to sit with elders of a gentle race.
Utopia-Todd Rundgren
Nice!
Been a while since I (Andy) heard that.
It may be time to rectify….
Pump up the Volume by MARRS
A window rattler, sister!
As usual the comics are hilarious, way to go and thank you as far as one song, Lou Reed, rock and roll, the live version. Of course if you ask me any other day it would be something different LOL
Each and every day – dare I (Andy) say each and every HOUR – the song choice will change. It’s all about mood.
Thanks, David! VERY pleased you dig the newsletter.
Love the news. I am so sorry to hear about the inventor of Auto Correct; & for not attending his funnel. You guys RULE!!! I do hope you are keeping Cool in this heat. Keep doing the back stroke, sooner or later we’ll all be able to Smoke A Toke. Peace to you all.
Always such a joy hearing from you, Alice.
Yes, the death of the AUTO CORRECT guy was a real shave.
Rock on, sister!
The first song that popped into my mind was Crazy On You – Heart.
With the full acoustic intro played by Nancy. Delicious!
