APRIL 8, 2022
Come Take the UPTOWN Q!
Okay, here we go…. WOOHOO! We are launching the Elm Treason Facebook Group “The Uptown Q!” This group will NOT be open to the general public. (Invite Only).
Since you already subscribe to this newsletter, consider this your invitation!
Yes, we will still be running our “regular” Facebook page.
But we are now accepting requests (via the link below) to join the “Uptown Q” group.
We will start posting stuff in there this weekend… but we are now accepting requests to join.
This group will be MORE interactive, more personal… and you WON’T miss a post if you don’t want to.
We will respond to your requests within 48 hours. (Please be patient with us as we get things going).
Once you’re in, check out the WELCOME VIDEO, grab yourself a WELCOME PACK (if you like) and say HI in the welcome thread.
This will be a TON of fun!
Hit this link and click the “JOIN GROUP” button. We will respond within a day or two.

Getting this newsletter via SMS (Phone Text)
Elm Treason has officially ceased using Facebook Messenger as a way of distributing this weekly newsletter.
Yes, we are still on Facebook.
Yes, we still use Messenger to stay in contact with friends and fans.
That hasn’t changed.
But as far as using an automated delivery system to send out GROOVY NOODLES, Facebook Messenger is toast.
There are now two ways to get this newsletter delivered every Friday.
E-Mail and Direct Phone Text.
If you already receive this newsletter via e-mail and you’re happy with that, you’re good to go. Nothing has changed.
However, if you’d rather receive your Noodles every Friday via a Phone Message (SMS), just hit this link and fill in the three fields (Name, E-Mail address and phone number):
—> GROOVY NOODLES SMS SIGN UP <—
You have our word that we will ONLY ever use your phone number to send the weekly notification for the newsletter. That’s it. We will never use it as a sales platform of any kind. ONLY the weekly newsletter. 🙂
Promise.
We hope you’ll stay in touch with us.
Just Amazing
If you haven’t seen this…. it’s pretty damn amazing. 11 year old Nandu Bushell tackles (and ACES) Rush’s Tom Sawyer on drums.
She is just a wonder.
We have no doubt that Neil Peart himself would LOVE this… and be honored.

Big Bones Lee??? That’s a harmonica player if ever there was one! 🙂
Fat Lemon Parker
That name just sounds SO LEGIT, doesn’t it, Andy?
Peg leg Gumo Jones… I like it!
Oh, I (Andy) LOVE it. ADORE IT, in fact.
LoL, Sleepy Bones Thompkins, apparently I run on caffeine, snark, and inappropriate memes ????????
I signed up for my Ticket for the Uptown Q! Love the group name! There was only one member when I clicked to join, we’re so kewl!
Thank you guys for being, well, you guys! ????
Oh man.. that slow blues… that finger-picking soul crunching blues….. That’s what SLEEPY BONES sounds like to us. 🙂
It is SO SO GOOD to have you in the group. It really is. We will slowly nurture it and find out what works best. We’re just launching it, so there will be some growing pains… but it’s going to be GOOD!
Big Liver McGee ????
I (Andy) can’t even tell you how much I LOVE that – Big Liver! That’s a double album package for sure.
Red liver Green
Sounds like a pretty decent blues dude… but can also sound like a dinner plate gone bad on the counter. LOL.
I (Andy) LOVE the first name “Red” for a BLUES singer.
Fat Fingers Davis-Rivers ????
LOVE LOVE LOVE it! We can tour together… Fat Fingers and Fat Bones On The Road!
Jailhouse Money Jones. Can you dig it? Looking forward to the Uptown Q. Great name! Is the New Yorker enjoying hanging out in Texas?
Jailhouse Money Jones. Really like that…. I (Andy) hear a live acoustic blues set recorded in a sawdust joint off of interstate 10 in Eastern Texas.
So far, so good here in Texas. I dig it much. The people are far more friendlier, if I may say so… This New Yorker has been enjoying himself thus far. THANK YOU for asking, Katie!
Red Legs Bradley, oh well…
Red Legs Bradley…. Actually, that sounds VERY DELTA-ISH…. I (Andy) dig that. LOL.
Mine is not to cool Texas Money Rivers, I would love having a bit more of that middle stuff…
Texas Money Rivers…. I (Andy) hear a SLIDE GUITAR in there somewhere.
Sticky Gumbo Bailey here, reporting for duty!
Haha! Man that is a GREAT NAME! Some Bayou Blues! Swampy, Smooth…. in the groove! We are FEELING the heat.
Red Legs Rivers
There’s something about RED LEGS RIVERS that I (Andy) adore. Can’t pinpoint it but I somehow hear some killer slide guitar in there somewhere.
Bald Lemon Malone. The name alone would give me the Blues! 🙂
HAHAHA! Sounds like some recently discovered recordings from the Late 1940s… out of Chicago, maybe.
