Exited for you Andy. Family is so important.
I’m indifferent to anything by Brittany Spears except one song that I love very much. “Toxic.”
Thanks, Bill.
In retrospect, Amy and I are fortunate we started so young… We’re still rocking hard, active and in great health, so being a grandparent (which sounded REAL SCARY for a while there) doesn’t seem so “old” to us right now.
We are digging it much!
Rock on, brother!
Not a fan of the Ramones. I know! I know! Might get a lot of flak for that. But I do love ‘Sedated’. It was my party song and can’t hear it now without going totally bonkers party mode. Which makes everyone around me want me to be to sedated. ????
No flack from this end. 🙂 We dig what we dig.. and I (Andy) agree with you… that song is a hardcore PARTY song if ever there was one.
Rock on, Victoria!
Congrats to both milestones! ????????
And honestly, I have too many “faves by artist” to list! But Lenny by SRV, Into The Mystic by Van Morrison, Kiss by Prince, and a wayback Perfidia by anyone LoL
I LOVE Into the Mystic!
..but not a Van Morrison fan overall?
Thank you, Nancy.
Milestones abound lately!
Let me (Andy) see if I can pick one off the top….. I’m not a huge fan of BECK, but I dig the song “Loser.”
First of all Andy that is exciting news another wedding and the new baby and your other daughter got married on my birthday so I guess in one way or another your family and I will be celebrating on that day!
My brain seems to be back in full swing so this week’s question is a no brainer, Ripples by Genesis!
Last weeks question a band or singer that you really love but don’t like a song, Blue Highway by Billy Idol. And to revisit one hit wonders sorry but I must get it off my chest, Cath by The Bluebells and The Hooters, And we Danced!
Working title for the new album is giving me a retro maybe cover song vibe?
Hey Shelley!
The working title is not really a nod to any cover versions.. rather, about attitudes and traditions… Sometimes, you just feel like “Going Yesterday.” Not that anyone wants to live in the past or that everything before today is better than today (because that is untrue)… but sometimes, you just want to slip back into a better feeling time… sometimes you just feel like “Going Yesterday.”
Love your choices, by the way.
It is always great to get your input on music.
Always.
Thank you, sister!
I’m not a Dire Straights fan, but I do like that song, So far away from me, a lot.
Nice song, indeed. Good choice, Mark.

Not a fan of Bruce, but I love Candy’s room, and the river. Don’t really care about Styx, but crystal ball, and suite madam blue, are the bomb!!
Nice picks, Joe. I (Andy) prefer Styx far more than Springsteen. I know it’s sacrilege in the Northeast, but I’ve never been a Bruce fan myself. I guess if I had to pick one from him, it’d be Tenth Avenue Freeze Out…. if I had to pick one.
Interesting…..
Rolling Stones- Jumping Jack Flash
For me (Andy), that is one of the best rock and roll records ever recorded. Just the sound and the arrangement always get me going. Thank you, brother.
I know this will probably freak some out but I’ve never been a big fan of Pink Floyd but I always liked their first record ( See Emily Play). My opinion the best song they ever did.
No freak outs here, brother. If everyone liked the same things, this’d be a MIGHTY MIGHTY boring planet, wouldn’t it?
Great song, brother.
Rock Star
Otherwise can’t stand Nickleback
Hey, John. I (Andy) actually know quite a few people who feel the EXACT same way about that song and that band.
Thanks, man.
